The last time I recorded live we had completely separate channels and could mix & edit post as needed ? I see your technique is a simple mono capture.
Band Recordings Live deploys a single microphone – HOWEVER – the mic used is an AT-Pro24 stereo microphone. With regards to audience sound/foreign sounds, it all depends on what you (as the band) are looking for in terms of a live sound. Some bands like to have more ambient crowd noise to add to that live sound. Some may prefer to have as little ambient/crowd noise as possible. Depending on what kind of live sound you are looking for in the recording, Band Recordings Live will position the setup accordingly based on your ambient sound preferences.
